PES 2010 is the pinnacle of football games! After listening to the feedback from thousands of PES fans, PES 2010 benefits from a raft of new additions and changes, one of the most important of which is the inclusion of 360-degree control that further elevates the unrivalled realism of the title. The 360-degree control system allows players to spread the ball with ease, opening up new attacking and defensive possibilities.

Enhanced Realism: PES 2010 delivers a pace of game in tune with football played at the highest level. Triangulation of passes and use of off-the-ball runs are key to breaking down the opposition, forcing the player to use the strengths of their team mates to create scoring opportunities. Gone are 'soft' goals that can be used to break the deadlock - instead, only working the channels and the precision play expected of great players will make a difference.

Player Characteristics: Key skills of the many players have now been attributed named, allowing users to incorporate them into their play strategy. Cover star Torres, for instance, is renowned for his ability to receive a pass in the penalty area, and to drop the ball to a teammate in a good position for a goal-scoring opportunity.

Instant Tactical Switching: Each team has unique settings matching their real-life playing styles. Torres at Liverpool, for instance, will recreate the Merseyside club's sophisticated play and high numbers in attack, their pressing from midfield, strong defensive line, and width across the pitch. For the offense, the default settings support wide attacks and the aim to move in the back of the opponent's defense line. The user can summon the bar instantly during a match to adjust team tactics to enhance their defence or strengthen attacks.

Master League: The Master League now incorporates both the Champions League and Europa Leagues in its content, offering a complete season for players to enjoy. Success in the Master League will see players streamed into these competitions. The lure of European football can also be used to attract stronger players to your side, with transfer dealings and contracts now significantly more realistic in their use.

       Fun to Play

The thing I like about pes is that you can edit all the premier league teams to make them however you wont. poor running and passing get the demo if you havent. I cannot decide if fifa is better than pes they are a lot much different football games. In my opinion you need a bit of both.

       Great but could be better

This is a brilliant game. Its a game you can play when your bored or just for fun but they could at least but all the real names for the football team instead for just Liverpool and Manchester united. But overall it is a really good game.

       Why?

I have just gone to the 'darkside' and bought a PS3 and now having played PES on both consoles feel i have to write a review. Obviously single player is great,m really fun and enjoyable. Master League is quite detailed and it will take a while to get bored, and when you do, there is Become A Legend to keep you entertained. My major problem with this which is why it only gets 3 stars, is that, even with my 12mb internet connection where i can play every game from COD:MW2 to Halo 3 to Dirt 2 etc, PES2010 lags ALL THE TIME. Everyone seems to have a bad connection, and its really unplayable when there is a 3 sec delay sometimes, for example: you press pass then it takes a few seconds for your player to actually pass, or you pull down to run right and it takes ages to turn. Its very rarely you get a game where it is smooth. On the otherhand i have just played it online for the PS3, nd its perfect online, no skipping or lagging. I dont understand why Xbox cant sort it out.
